Heritage เป็นรูปแบบการตกแต่งที่เกิดจากรสนอยมของผู้ที่ชื่นชอบความหรูหราความภูมิฐาน และมีรสนิยมในการเลือกใช้ของที่ดูดีมีระดับ ที่กล่าวเช่นนี้เพราะในรูปแบบของการตกแต่ง จะไม่เจาะจงว่าของใช้ทั้งหมดต้องเป็นยุคเดียวกันเท่านั้นอาจจะมาจากยุคที่มีความคลาสสิกก่อนหน้านั้นแต่ยังเป็นที่นิยมกันอยู่ และเป็นของที่มีคุณค่าทางด้านจิตใจ มีความเป็นศิลปะผสมผสานอยู่ด้วย การตกแต่งแบบเฮอริเทจเป็นแนวที่ผสมกันระหว่าง Classic กับ Oriental ซึ่งบ่งบอกถึงความหรูหราและวัฒนธรรมทางสังคมด้วยรูปแบบที่มีความปราณีตในการทำอย่าง โซฟาที่มีการบุเดินตะเข็บอย่างละเอียด และหมอนอิงที่เข้าชุด โคมไฟระย้า โคมไฟติดผนัง หรือแม้กระทั่งเชิงเทียน เพราะที่ประณีตในการเจียระไนคริสตัลแต่ละเม็ดให้มีรูปทรงรับกันกับฐานโคม โทนสีของผนังจะออกแนวอบอุ่น และดูสง่าไปในตัว คือ โทนสีเหลืองอมน้ำตาล สีครีม หรืออาจจะใช้สีที่ดูเข้ม อย่าง สีน้ำตาล เพื่อช่วยรับประกายของแสงที่กระทบกับทองเหลือง หรือแก้วเจียระไน ฉะนั้น ห้องที่ประดับตกแต่งแบบเฮอริเทจ จึงเป็นตัวอย่างของการตกแต่งที่บ่งบอกถึงสถานะทางสังคม แสดงถึงความสง่างาม ความเป็นผู้มีรสนิยม อีกทั้งยังบ่งบอก จะเล่าเรื่องราวความเป็นมาของชิ้นงานศิลปะภายในห้องนั้นได้อีกด้วย
